Hello Superstars,
It's time for our first update of 2024! I'm hopeful we'll see some movement on our projects this year and some exciting reward deliveries as we move through 2024!
Before we get to our regular project status report, I've also got some non-Kicstarter Exalted project news to share...
From frozen Northern tundra to vast Southern deserts, from dense Eastern forests to the West’s endless waters, Creation shelters myriad cultures and civilizations.
Night horrors stalk the farmlands outside Whitewall, while residents and refugees within struggle with overpopulation and hunger. In the rebel satrapy of Fray, dragonlord Hanto Galina has named herself Empress and laid claim to the Scarlet Throne. Intelligent wolves rule in Wolf’s Paw, adopting human finery and demanding loyalty from human servants. By the Dreaming Sea, Tzakul relicts play their soul game, competing to seize opponents’ bodies. Varangian astrologers study citizens’ horoscopes, setting social status from the moment of birth. Alien structures loom over Decanthus, a Southwestern city recently returned from Hell. Smiths in the empire of Makelo produce fantastic works, their craft handed down from the forge-goddess Ninegala. An ominous heart beats beneath the Silverswept Plains, drawing the plains clans into the entity’s inhuman nightmares.
Across the Eight Directions provides details about locations throughout Creation, including their history, culture, government structure, religious practices, and more. It introduces new settings, and expands upon familiar locales. It also discusses prominent figures active in each location, and presents information on local neighbors such as allies, rival cities, or wilderness areas with intriguing mysteries for explorers to encounter.
As noted up top, this wasn't a Kickstarter project, so has been released in advance PDF form. Errata has been collected, and the final PDF will get updated over the next few months, with page XXs corrected and other issues sorted, and eventually a Print-on-Demand release as well.

CURRENTLY CROWDFUNDING
We’re all out of the traditionally-printed copies of several of our core rulebooks from previous crowdfunding campaigns. So we’re going back for more!
This should help us fund a new print run for:

Other campaigns: we like adding core rulebooks as add-ons to other campaigns (we did a bunch of those on this campaign too!), and this helps us keep doing that.
Retailers: Put our games in front of other faces at physical game stores!
The books have all received minor edits to fix a few errors we’ve noticed over the years. This Friday's Onyx Pathcast will talk about these books and the possible minor edits that are being worked on. You can check out the campaign for one more week <here>.
December '23 Update

Hello Superstars,
Minor progress to report on one of our Stretch Goal supplements (the companion book is now in first drafts), but the important news for today is about another campaign that's just about to end.
ABYSSALS: SWORN TO THE GRAVE
The crowdfunding campaign for Abyssals: Sworn to the Grave has just about two days left. It ends tomorrow, December 14th at 11:59 PM PST(That's just about 3 AM EST on Friday, so we'll see how awake I am at the end!)
Right now, if you click over to the campaign and check out today's update, you'll be able to read the entire draft manuscript for the book as it stands now.
If you pledge at the $5 Stygian Citizen level, you'll have access to the Pledge Manager when it launches in January and have access to a compiled version of the draft manuscript and the ability to trade up to the PDF or deluxe hardcover tiers in the future.
If you pledge at the $25 Acolyte of the Deathlords level, you'll get the compiled draft manuscript when the Pledge Manager launches, receive the PDF when it's finished and released to backers, and receive all of the unlocked Stretch Goals as a bonus reward. Right now, we've got a few milestone markers and a big companion book that we've expanded with 11 new sections.
And, of course, the $125 Chosen of Death level will get you all of the above plus the eventual deluxe hardcover, which will look amazing sitting next your your deluxe Sidereals book.
Never before has Creation known the perils of the Abyssal Exalted. They have emerged from the gloom of the Underworld as champions of death, sworn to the service of the Deathlords and the Neverborn. In service to their lieges, these deathknights will grind the Underworld to heel and scour life from the face of Creation. Or…they might break from those oaths and set themselves up as death’s own Lawgivers, ruling empires of the dead as sages, arbiters, and reapers. All that can be known for sure is that with the Abyssal Exalted loosed upon the world, it will never be the same again.

Writers are making progress on the companion book and finishing up first drafts before turning them over to the developers to provide feedback and request revisions.

November '23 Monthly Update - Abyssals Are Coming!

Hello Superstars,
I don't have any big Sidereals news for you today, but I did want to get our regular monthly update out to you a bit early because I do have some big Exalted Third Edition news.
Never before has Creation known the perils of the Abyssal Exalted. They have emerged from the gloom of the Underworld as champions of death, sworn to the service of the Deathlords and the Neverborn. Each was offered the gift of the Bleak Exaltation at the moment of their own demise, and each chose to willingly become an agent of the apocalypse. As always, we'll be sharing the draft manuscript during the campaign, so you'll be able to check out the chapters on The Underworld, all of the Charms, Necromancy and more as the campaign runs over the next 4 weeks.

The developers are finishing up their last bits of work on the Sidereals manuscript and handing in art notes so that Art Direction can begin. With their focus off the main book, I expect the Stretch Goals to start coming together in the months ahead.
